What is the difference between lumen and lux?
The difference between lumen and lux is that lux is measured on a specific surface area where the light gets spread on. A lightsource of 1000 lumen spread across 1 m², illuminates that square meter with 1.000 lux. The same 1000 lumen spread across 10 m², lights the surface with only 100 lux.
